ARTISTIC TRAINING PROGRAM

at The Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Lodz
for Polish citizens and foreigners

 

Recruitment for the traineeship takes place only via the Online Candidate Recruitment system (IRK).

ONLINE CANDIDATE RECRUITMENT SYSTEM

 

 
TRAINEESHIP OBJECTIVES
  • improving performance skills,
  • working on interpretation and repertoire,
  • artistic development
 
TYPES OF CLASSES
  • individual in the field of solo instrument playing,
  • individual in the field of solo instrument playing with an accompanist,
  • individual in the field of solo singing with an accompanist,
  • English language in a group (for foreigners only).
 
CANDIDATES

Applications for Artistic Training programs may be submitted by persons who:

  • have completed first or second cycle studies or uniform long-cycle Master's programs,
  • have successfully passed the qualifying exam,
  • have submitted the required documents on time.
 
THE COST OF AN ANNUAL ARTISTIC TRAINEESHIP FOR FOREIGNERS

in English (main subject, plus English language classes 1 hour per week)

  • 30 hours without accompanist – not less than 17 000 PLN
  • 30 hours with accompanist – not less than 22 000 PLN
 
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
  • DVD recordings of the presentation of any program, duration 20-30 min,
  • signed application requesting admission to an artistic training program (template downloadable from the IRK system - Online Candidate Recruitment),
  • signed application to the Dean of the Faculty requesting assignment to the main subject teacher,
  • CV (curriculum vitae),
  • graduation diploma with supplement,
  • a copy of passport or ID card (for the purpose of drawing up a contract),
  • confirmation of payment of the enrollment fee of 150 PLN (payment through the IRK system).
 
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
  • recordings and scans of documents in the IRK system – until June 30, 2025.
  • documents in paper form (only for accepted applicants) – until October 20, 2025.
 
IMPORTANT!

For the academic year 2024/2025, the University has set the following admission limit for candidates:

  • 5 participants for the Faculty of Instrumental Performance,
  • 5 participants for the Faculty of Performing Arts.
