DOCTORAL TRAINEESHIP FOR FOREIGNERS

Recruitment for the traineeship takes place only via the Online Candidate Recruitment system (IRK).

 
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

• recordings and scans of documents in the IRK system (Online Candidate Recruitment) - until June 30, 2025.
• documents in paper form (only for accepted candidates) -until October 20, 2025.

1. Doctoral traineeship is a form of training for which candidates - foreigners with qualifications of long-cycle uniform Master's programs or second-cycle studies are admitted.
2. The University of Music in Lodz may conduct a doctoral traineeship in the area of education related to at least one field of study provided by the University.
3. The University of Music may provide doctoral training in the following fields:
   • instrumental studies in the following specializations: piano, organ, harpsichord, accordion, guitar, harp, violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion
   • performing arts in the specialization of vocal and acting performance

The fee for one year of doctoral traineeship in Instrumental Studies is 23 600 PLN / 5 500 EURO

The fee for one year of doctoral traineeship in Performing Arts is 29 300 PLN / 6 820 EURO

 
RECRUITMENT DOCUMENTS

1. The candidate is required to submit the following documents;
   • for formal verification:
     • a signed application for admission to a doctoral training program,
     • Master's degree in art or an equivalent academic title diploma, translated into Polish by a certified sworn translator,
     • CV (curriculum vitae) with particular emphasis on the education path and conducted activity,
     • one current photograph compliant with the requirements for issuing identity documents,
     • confirmation of payment of the enrollment fee (150 PLN),
   • for substantive verification:
     • a list of artistic/academic achievements along with the documents confirming these accomplishments.
2. In addition, each candidate is required to send a presentation in the form of a recording for skill evaluation by the Examination Committee.
