BACHELOR’S STUDIES

full-time first-cycle studies (4-year program)
Field of study/Major: PERFORMING ARTS

These studies are aimed at secondary school graduates (high schools, technical schools, music schools) who have successfully passed their matriculation exams, have vocal and acting aptitude and are interested in improving their talents.

Classes are conducted in English

The aim of the first-cycle study program is to prepare the student for work in professions directly related to singing in musical theaters. Completion of these studies allows the student to work in cultural institutions, in organizing events and conducting concerts.
 

Vocal and acting bachelor’s study program

MASTER’S STUDIES

full-time second-cycle studies (2-year program)
Field of study/Major: PERFORMING ARTS

The second-degree program is designed for talented first-degree graduates endowed with outstanding vocal talents, exceptional musical knowledge, as well as high artistic and intellectual potential, guaranteeing optimal effects of practical and theoretical training

Classes are conducted in English

The aim of the second-cycle study program is to prepare the student for independent artistic activity. The graduate is prepared to work as a solo singer on stages, in concert and various other performance environments, as well as to cooperate with vocal, opera, operetta or oratorio ensembles.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS
BACHELOR’S STUDIES

MAJOR EXAM

  • SOLO SINGING
    A minimum of three vocal pieces with accompaniment should be prepared (preferably two arias and one song, or one aria and two songs). The exam is a one-stage procedure. The sheet music of the pieces performed must be submitted before the exam for the use of accompanists.
  • QUALIFICATION INTERVIEW
    regarding the main specialty.
MASTER’S STUDIES

MAJOR EXAM

  • SOLO SINGING
    The candidate performs any four pieces.
  • QUALIFICATION INTERVIEW regarding:
    • the candidate's motivation for continuing studies;
    • the candidate's specialized interests;
    • expectations related to the candidate's chosen specialisation;
    • the candidate's career plans.
